P22 Albers Poster

During my sophomore year, I took a Typography class and one of our projects was to pick a typeface and create a two-sided poster. The front side must be a conceptual poster while the back must be informational.

P22 Albers was the typeface I picked because of its geometric shapes and how modern it looked despite being made in the 1930s.

The Conceptual Side is made up of the 10 shapes that the typeface is made up of. I tried to use colors that Josef Albers, the famous designer who actually designed this typeface, would use in his art.

The information Side uses a grid to keep the information and sentences on line. I divided the information into 3 sections and added 3 photos. I added shadow boxes to give it depth and to continue with the geometrical theme.
