In my intermediate graphic design class, one of our projects was to pick a non-profit and create a logo for them. We then had to incorporate that logo into a logo head, business card, and envelope.

Due to my love of history, I chose the non-profit, Historic New England. They preserve historic houses, lands, and buildings. Since their headquarters are in Boston, I choose to incorporate the infamous street lamps into the logo.

Throughout this project, I learned the importance of clean margins, the difficulty of justified text, the proper placing of addresses, and cohesive design.
