CommWorks Mockups
In my final semester of college, I took a class called Studio 5. This class received projects from real clients all over Boston and help with their design needs.

The Show! CommWorks is an annual event at Simmons University that showcases student's work from the communication department. This year CommWork's theme was Polaroid and it was going to be the first time it was accessible online to showcase all the digital projects. Unfortunately due to COVID-19, the event was canceled before I was able to start coding.

During the mockup design, I wanted to incorporate as the theme as much I could. Each color from the Polaroid theme represents a communications concentration. The landing page displays vertical bars that when rolled over, extend to show an image displaying what the concentration is.

Once a concentration is clicked on, it brings you to a page that displays all the classes in that concentration. The color blocks underneath each class represent all the concentrations that require that class.

The navigation system is located on the left where the color bars are. When hovering over one, it expands to display the concentration title.

Once a class is clicked, it is sent to this page. The left bar has a description of the class along with the colors of the concentrations that make this class requirement. The rest of the page is dedicated to digital projects. The pages were going to be put on display during The Show! CommWorks! So I had to make sure the viewer saw all the projects without scrolling.
